HISTORY
The City of Hazelwood was originally incorporated as the Village of Hazelwood in 1949. However, there is evidence of Indian settlements going as far back as 4000 B.C. French explorers were the first Europeans to venture into the area, though American settlers truly made the area their home soon after the founding of our nation.
ACCESSIBILITY
Nestled along one of the main transport veins of St. Louis County, Hazelwood provides quick access to the airport and St. Louis City via Lindbergh Boulevard and Interstate 270.

The center features a gymnasium, basketball, volleyball, and indoor soccer; which seats up to 300 individuals for banquet use. A game room with billiards, foosball, air hockey, and table tennis. A weight room with universal weight equipment, treadmill, elliptical trainer, recumbent bicycle, climber, & hand weights.
Civic Center East - 8969 Dunn Road | Civic Center East features a gymnasium, basketball and volleyball court, suspended walking/jogging track, weight room, camstar weight equipment, treadmill, recumbent bicycle, climber, rower, hand weights. Multi-purpose rooms with seating up to 200 individuals may be rented for various occasions. Kitchens in each.
Hazelwood Sports Complex - 4622 Aubuchon Road | A 19.73 acre complex which has seven ball fields, the potential for four soccer fields, a pavilion, concession building and maintenance facility.
